Bodegas Piqueras left the international contest Mundus Vini with a gold medal in our hands. Our protagonist was the wine Valcanto Cabernet Sauvignon 2015, recognized for its excellence by more than 170 experts of the industry.
The Grand International Wine Award Mundus Vini, founded by Meinger Verlag, is celebrated twice each year. In the edition of the 2018 summer tasting, a total of 4,311 wines were presented that were blind tasted. Spain proved once again that it is among the best in the world. In total 122 golds were delivered for Spain of which our Valcanto Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 was one.
Valcanto Cabernet Sauvignon 2015 is a wine from Cabernet Sauvignon grapes in its entirety, which results in a deep red colour and complex fruity aromas. Tasty with smoky nuances, cedar, liquorice and an attractive touch of truffle, it is perfect to enjoy alone or accompanied by roasted or grilled meats.
