To celebrate the centenary of Bodegas Piqueras, last October saw the opening of the “A HUNDRED YEARS OF WINE” exhibition in Almansa’s Casa de la Cultura. This is a collective undertaking by the members of the Almansa Fotoclub to commemorate the path travelled by the company across all these years. The individual photos invite the viewer on a journey along the hundred-year history of Bodegas Piqueras, a family business that began producing wine in 1915, began to bottle its wine in 1961 and in the 1980s decided that the next big step would be to go international. Since then, the winery has continued to grow while focusing on organic methods.
